Hairy eyed Honey Bee!

Posted by Darren on April 19, 2010

What I like most about this photo of a Honey Bee is the visible hair on the compound eyes.  The thing that  fascinates me most about this sort of photography are the beautiful details that we never see with the naked eye.  I also love the colours and texture of lavender when viewed up close. Bees and lavender make for good photography!
